Bassike

Formed in 2006 by Deborah Sams and Mary Lou Ryan (both ex-Ksubi), bassike intents to create high quality basics, and let me say, they totally did it.
Using only the finest organic cotton, bassike pieces are a joy to wear. Nowadays they offer, as well, great denim and wool options in a wide variety of cuts and colors.

Hello, Brute...

Probably you don't know, but I'm quite a vinyl toys fan. One which I like and have recently came across is "Hello, Brute".
"Hello, Brute" is the result of the creative mind of Jon Knox, designer/illustrator/artist based in Portland.
His resins toys are 100% hand-made. He sculpts the original figure, makes a mold from the original, and casts duplicates which he hand-paints. These toys are more environmentally friendly and sustainable than factory produced toys.

Today I bring you popissue, a unique cutting-edge label launched in 2005. This tees are a good example of their work; prints are a combination of hand drawn imagery & pop-art collage celebrating & subverting pop culture.

Their clothes are available in stores like For-Tomorrow, unfortunately this two are already sold out.
